Peace Bridges

Peace Bridges, formed in 2003, is a strategic partner of the Evangelical Fellowship of Cambodia, governed by a board of respected internationals and Cambodians. We have provided mediation and training services to churches, development agencies, families and community groups, large and small. We are a Christian organisation but respect the beliefs of all groups who require our help.

The four key objectives of Peace Bridges are:

1. Equip peace builders from partner groups to be capable of offering basic conflict prevention education and/or conflict counseling and mediation.
   
   
2. Develop specializations in peace issues -- such as violence prevention interventions aimed at reducing incidents of violence in families, between youth and general communities – through researching and implementing pilot project with selected partners.
   
   
3. Mobilise those we train to work in cooperation with Peace Bridges as peace educators and/or mediator/conflict counselors. This includes working within and beyond their own organizations contexts in partnership with Peace Bridges.
   
   
4. By 2015 build a sustainable, local NGO, with international links yet under the directorship of a Cambodian national and majority national staff
